What can I do to get started as a patient?
Why do I need to be sedated?Is I.V. conscious sedation safe?
I.V. conscious sedation is considered the safest of all forms of anesthesia. The patient is able to snooze through the procedure while maintaining his protective reflexes. Blood pressure, heart rhythm, and pulse are monitored throughout the procedure. Drs. Nunnally, Freeman, Owens, and Dorsey are certified in I.V. conscious sedation and have received extensive training in sedation and advanced cardiac life support.
Would you like me to send cone beam (CBCT) scans?
When beginning the process of having Nunnally, Freeman & Owens evaluate your dental needs, please send us a digital 2-D panoramic x-ray. The panoramic x-ray gives us a much quicker and much more simple image to evaluate and it greatly speeds the process of providing you with a treatment plan.
We will take a cone beam (CBCT) upon your arrival at our office. Cone beams taken elsewhere often do not open in our computer system and can result in an unnecessary expense and radiation exposure.
Will I get better?
Is routine dentistry performed at Nunnally, Freeman, & Owens?
In addition to dental revisions, our office offers routine dentistry services such as cleanings, fillings, and crowns performed in the Nunnally & Freeman office?

Can I rent a condo while staying in Marble Falls?
While staying in Marble Falls, are condominium rentals available where I can do my own cooking?
Yes, our staff can make several recommendations for rentals which have kitchens.
What is a dental revision?
A dental revision is the replacement of dental restorations with materials that are more compatible with one’s immune system. In addition, a dental revision most often includes removal of root canal teeth and thorough debridement of cavitations.
Are organic groceries available in Marble Falls?
Our local grocery has a fairly good supply of organic fruits, vegetables, chicken, and eggs.
The best source of organic groceries will be found at Whole Foods in Austin or San Antonio.
Do you have payment plans?

Do you accept insurance?
Although we do not accept insurance as a direct payment for our services, our office will gladly provide you with your insurance forms so you may be reimbursed from your insurance provider directly.
Is a shuttle available from the airport to Marble Falls?
Yes, our office can connect you with a safe and reliable shuttle service.
How close is the nearest airport to Nunnally and Freeman?
Austin International Airport (AUS) is one hour from Nunnally and Freeman and San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is one hour and fifteen minutes.
How soon can I fly after dental surgery?
24 hours is the minimum time restriction before flying.
Why is it recommended that I stay in Marble Falls the night of surgery?
We urge patients to stay in a nearby hotel so as to enhance the healing process.
We believe the vibration of riding in a vehicle for long distances after surgery can be disruptive to the surgical sites.

Do I need a caregiver?Can I drive home after being sedated (I.V. conscious sedation)?
The use of I.V. Sedation makes it mandatory that you have a caregiver and driver on the day of treatment.
If you do not have a caregiver, our office can arrange one for you in advance for a small fee.
